Hsien-Ju Ko received the B.S. degree in Marine Engineering from National Taiwan Ocean University in 1998, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Tatung University in 2000 and 2004, respectively. He joined Asia University in 2006 and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Photonics and Communication Engineering.

His academic and research work spans automatic control, signal processing, artificial intelligence, and computer networks. He has also served as a Technical Program Committee Member of the IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing.

Research on digital control systems, finite word length effects, and stability analysis for controller realization and implementation.

Focus on digital filtering, ECG signal processing, adaptive filtering, and computationally efficient system synthesis.

Interests also extend to artificial intelligence, recurrent neural network implementation, and computer network related applications.
